Mustard Seed - US$ 450-475 pmt fob Kandla / Mundra port
The prices for mustard seed came down by around 1-4% at different trading
centres due to arrival of new crop. The crop this season is higher than
last year and estimated at 70 lakh tonnes. Mustard seed, a rabi crop,
is next to soybean in terms of production in India. The may month contracts
are approx. at US$ 435 pmt while june and july futures are trading at
around US$ 443 and 451 pmt.
Canada is offering canola at around US$ 340-345 while Germany's rapeseed
is approx. at US$ 345-350 pmt fob.
