Soybean - US$ 475-490 pmt fob Kandla / Mundra / Mumbai port
The prices for soybean are very much stable in the market showing negligible
movement. The Mar futures are at around US$ 45.9 per 100kg while april
contracts at US$ 45.1, may month futures at 44.7 and June at 44.5 per
100kg. Argentine origin is currently at US$ 330-335 fob.
The direct consumption of soybean is limited but the consumption of soy
products like its meal and oil is very high in India as well overseas
markets so the price movements of soybean mainly moves according to the
end demand for its products.
