Indian Pepper

The pepper prices of India have dropped down in last couple of days giving break to its bull phase. Today it touched the lower circuit with all pepper contracts dropping down by 4%. The drop came mainly due to profit booking and lowering of prices by other origins. The export prices of India dropped down by USD 150 from US$ 4650 to US$ 4500 per ton fob Kochi. Indian pepper can be expected to move in tandem with other International origins but shall remain at premium to them as festive season is lying ahead in the country.

All the pepper contracts were down by 4% in today's trading.

Cumin Seed-Jeera

The cumin seed too dropped down in Indian market today by 4% because of profit-booking.
