Seed - Jeera (fob Kandla/Mundra) Machine Cleaned 99% - US$ 2200-2250 Best
Machine Cleaned - US$ 2500-2600 The
jeera prices were down due to weaker export demand. The commodity futures trading
too have shown the decline in tandem with spot prices. Black
Pepper MGI - US$ 2550-2600 (fob Kochi) The
pepper rates and futures market were up because of the good domestic demand. But
the weaker rupee is helping exporters to offer it on competitive prices. Sesame
Seed - 98/2 - US$ 1700-1750 (fob Kandla/Mundra) The
prices for sesame more or less remains same. Coriander
Seed - 99% - 1650-1700 US$ pmt (fob Mundra) With
the downward movement of coriander prices in the local market and depriciating
rupee, dhaniya prices got more competitive. India not only exports coriander but
also imports it but Indian origin is considered premium to other origins. Feed

Meal - 270-273 pmt (fob Kandla/Bedi) Rapeseed
Meal - 201-203 pmt (fob Kandla) Peanut
/ Groundunt Meal - 235-237 pmt (fob Bedi) The
soymeal prices showed some decline with negative movement on Cbot and depriciating
rupee. The peanut meal moved down in tandem with sbm and rsm too went down marginally. International
