Guar gum split - US$ 1220-1240 Guar Seed - 505-515 The prices of guar
had been quite under pressure and has not risen much. The main reason for that
is huge availability of stocks and good expected monsoon this season. The guar
crop is normally sown during June-July and harvested in Sep-Nov. growing mainly
in the northern part of India. 16 April Guar gum split - US$ 1210-1230
Guar Seed - 500-510 The prices are showing some depression of the market.
Right now the demand is lull so guar is going downwards. The major supply of the
world for guar gum is from India & Pakistan. 10 April Split - US$
1250-1270 Seed - US$ 520-530 the lack of interest in buying by exporters
has made the prices of guar gum to come down. India's major supply of guar is
to world market with limited local demand so unless the demand rises the prices
may come under more pressure. 04/04 Guar Gum Split - US$ 1275-1295
Guar Seed - US$ 535-545 the spot market of guar almost traded in the same
range but the futures dropped sharply for both guar gum and guar seed. the prices
of guar mainly depends upon the export demand as India's major production is shipped
to U.S, Europe and other countries. Unless exporters buy actively the guar prices
may fall in spot market too. 1st April 08 Guar Gum Split - US$ 1270-1285
Guar Seed - US$ 535-545 eu report earlier this month seems to have played
dampener as guar prices haven't received much support this month Guar
