(Indicative Soy meal Commodity Prices in US$
PMT FOB port, India) 31st July - US$ 487-492
The soymeal prices
moved up to 490 with Cbot's positive movement but later in the day dropped back. 29th
July - US$ 484-489
Though it was slightly up on Cbot the Indian soy meal
prices showed marginal negative movement as the local market is already high. 25th
July - US$ 485-490 24th July - US$ 486-491
The prices of
soymeal are showing downward movements though the negative movement is less than
that on Cbot. The appreciation of rupee in this week by almost 2% ensured that
the prices in dollar terms do not drop much. 21st July - 491-496
The prices were once again down. Lot of fluctuation is seen in soybean meal's
prices at this level. It is expected to move upward in this week. 18th
July - US$ 496-500
The soymeal prices showed just some sort of correction
in Indian market though on Cbot they crashed by almost 5%. 16th July
- US$ 498-504
Though cbot movement was negative Indian soybean meal moved
up on the back of good export demand. The export is expected to cross 5 million
tonne mark this season. The season is usually Oct-Sep as new crop arrives mainly
in October. 11th July - US$ 495-502 |
