Meal - US$ 430-435 pmt fob Kandla/Bedi port
The
soybean meal prices were mainly up due to the increased cost of its raw
material soybean due to the expected shortage in world market. The demand
though has dropped down as Indian oilmeals export was down by 60% for
March 09 compared to March 08. US is offering at around US$ 340-345, Argentina
at US$ 325-330 and Brazil at 330-335 all on pmt fob basis.
