Though
the sbm prices dropped in local market the appreciating rupee kept the
export prices very much stable. The Cbot soymeal futures yesterday showed
the drop with July contracts trading at 386.2 down by 3.8 and Aug futures
at 368.4 down by 5, but Indian prices remained same due to currency fluctuations
otherwise it usually moves in tandem with Cbot. Argentine origin is availabe
at US$ 412-416 pmt, Brazilian origin at US$ 418-422 pmt and US soybean
meal at US$ 430-440 pmt on fob basis.
