(Wholesale Prices in Indian & Ethiopian market)
Indian Natural White Sesame Seed:
The 98/2 was trading at around US$ 1350-1360 pmt in wholesale market of
India while 95/5 was at US$ 1300-1310 pmt. The sesame seed prices dropped
down by around 2.75% this week in Indian market.
Ethiopian HSS: Humera
Sesame Seed Grade 1 was trading at US$ 1242 pmt (14000 birr) on ethiopian
commodity exchange. It dropped down by around 6% this week in one of the
biggest african market. The sesame trading on ecx has started since this
month only.
